Good News Daily is an independent news outlet covering the stories that don't always make the front page: scientific breakthroughs, conservation wins, medical progress, and the quiet, everyday resilience of people and communities around the world.
We don't invent optimism — we report it. Every story we publish is traced to the organization behind the news, such as a university, agency or charity, checked against a second source, and linked back to where it came from. If the facts don't hold up, we don't run the story.
Good News Daily is published by Diego Media, an independent digital publisher based in the Netherlands. It isn't part of a larger media group, wire service, or political organization — it's run as a focused, single-purpose outlet built around one goal: surfacing real, verifiable progress that's easy to miss in a news cycle dominated by crisis coverage.
Every article is selected, checked and published by our editor, Diego Callegari, whose name appears on each story. There's no larger newsroom behind the site yet; as it grows and other writers join, their names will appear on the stories they write.
Health and medicine, the environment, humanitarian progress, science and innovation, and the communities and people driving change. If it's real, verifiable, and worth knowing, it belongs here.
Our editorial policy explains in detail how we choose and verify stories, select images and handle corrections.
